Football: Scarborough still unbeaten after winning ‘Battle of the Beaches’

SCARBOROUGH remains unbeaten at the top of the WA Amateur League A-grade ladder after proving too strong for North Beach on Saturday.

The Eagles won the ‘Battle of the Beaches’ 11.19 (85) to 7.7 (49) at Charles Riley Reserve.

North Beach is in fourth with three wins from five games and faces an away-game to University who have won the same number of matches.

Scarborough hosts the seventh-placed Kingsway at Abbett Park.
