Innaloo mark milestone in opening Metro Football League match

Laura PondStirling Times

INNALOO Football Club gave up a fourth quarter lead in their round 1 Metro Football League match but it did not dampen players’ spirits.

The Bulldogs celebrated their 50th anniversary year with a community fun day on Sunday during its clash with Warwick Greenwood.

About 50 past players and members attended Birralee Reserve for the celebration, with children’s activities keeping young ones entertained.

The home side won the reserves match 15.14 (104) to 8.7 (55) before league players took to the ground.
