SCARBOROUGH kitesurfers Ryland Blakeney and Jonathan Goldsworthy are set to bring their best performance to the 2017 Lancelin Ocean Classic from January 12 to 15.

Having both previously competed successfully, Blakeney said it was a great event.

“It was cool seeing so many local, interstate and international riders in one spot and Lancelin delivering the great conditions it’s known for once again.

“It’s one of my favourite events on the WA calendar and I never miss it.”

The Lancelin Ocean Classic is in its 32nd year and will bring the best local, national and international kitesurfers, windsurfers, ocean skiers and stand up paddle boarders to the shores of Lancelin.

The weekend will kick off with the Sailor’s Welcome on Friday, January 13, while the main marathon event will take place on the Saturday with kites and windsurfers competing together for the second year running.
