Netball: City Beach Surfers downs Scarborough

CITY Beach Surfers (1) beat Scarborough 72-27 in round 2 of the open division 1 competition at Matthews Netball Centre on Saturday.

Phantoms defeated Floreat 62-30, Classics (1) beat Classics (2) 55-32 and CBS (2) had a 49-31 win over Aranmore Jets.

In the junior division one competition, CBS (1) beat CBS (2) 36-29, Classics (1) beat John XXIII (1) 59-24, Methodist Ladies’ College (1) had a 38-29 win over Storm (1) and Classics (2) defeated Perth College (1) 38-22.

Classics (1) defeated JTC (1) 69-9 in the junior year 7-8 division while Newman Siena Netball Club beat West Coasters 27-26, Classics (2) had a 42-17 win over PC and St Hilda’s Anglican School defeated CBS 46-30.
