“Ideally, what we would like to achieve in the future is to see many of our players and coaches enter development squads and Colts teams in the WAFL,” he said.

“Through the WAFL talent system, we have the opportunity to link in with Subiaco and their talent program to give our players and coaches exposure to higher levels of learning and development in their football.”

Subiaco League players Justin Joyce, formerly of Carine and Hamersley Carine Amateur Football clubs, and Rowen Powell will serve as assistant coaches for the 18s team.

Powell was picked up by the West Coast Eagles in the 2014 rookie draft.

“Justin and Rowen are outstanding footballers, two-time premiership players with the Subiaco Football Club side and will be a valuable addition to our program,” Farmer said.

Registrations are open for the 2020 season.
