NPL WA weekend results: Losses for Stirling and Balcatta

BALCATTA Football Club remains without a win following the fifth National Premiere League WA match on Saturday.

Forrestfield United put on its best performance of the season in its 4-0 win over Balcatta at Hartfield Park in Forrestfield.

Balcatta is second bottom of the ladder, with just one draw to its name for the season.

Stirling Lions are one position higher with one win and one draw after five matches.

They suffered a 5-3 loss to fourth-placed Sorrento on Saturday in Duncraig.

The visitors came close, bringing the game to 4-3 and almost levelling the score, but Sorrento scored again in the final moments.

Goal scorers for the Lions were David Micevski, Dean Cummings and Dhhors Chol.
