OSBORNE Park Bowling Club has received $50,000 from the State Government for shade sails.

The Government pledged the funds to the club during its election campaign.

Premier Mark McGowan and Balcatta MLA David Michael visited the Tuart Hill facility last week to view how the portable shade sail and permanent shade sails at the ends of the green will benefit members.

Mr Michael has been a club patron for more than 10 years.

“These funds have gone towards providing shade around the greens and will make a big difference to the players this summer,” he said.
