SCARBOROUGH Tennis Club player Amy Findlay has led her team to a Super 10s title at a National Tennis Camp held in Melbourne during the second week of the Australian Open.

Findlay, of Duncraig, Sara Barilla (SA), Caitlin Bourke (NSW), Zali Illitch (ACT) along with West Australian coach Marissa Gianotti took out the girls competition at the invitational event.

Seven WA athletes were among 64 of the country’s top 10-and-under players selected to compete at the camp that splits players into eight teams of four that play 50-minute rubbers following a Fast 4 format.

Off court, players met tennis stars including Rafael Nadal, who invited the group on court for a photo opportunity following his warm up session ahead of Sunday night’s final.

Findlay was chosen to toss the coin ahead of the quarter final match between Elena Svitolina and eventual Australian Open Women’s Singles winner Naomi Osaka.
