Soccer: Balcatta secures back-to-back NPLWA wins with 2-1 triumph over Armadale

BALCATTA Football Club has notched up back-to-back wins in the National Premier Leagues WA.

The club beat Armadale 2-1 at Grindleford Reserve in Balcatta on Saturday.

It was a slow start, with scores locked at 0-0 at half-time, but the home side took the lead at the 77th minute with a goal from Anton De Francesch.

Armadale’s Chris Jackson tied scores again before De Francesch nabbed his second goal.

Stirling Lions were celebrating nearby, with a 2-1 win over Floreat Athena at Macedonia Park.

The home team fought back from 1-0 down to claim victory, following goals from Robert Petkov and Alex Tanevski.
