The four girls and six boys from the Beatty Park-based club were selected to teams for those born in 2000 or 2001 and attended a camp in lieu of World Championships, which are only contested for under-18s and over.

Triton coach Mark Oberman said the camp was a good development opportunity for the teenagers.

Oberman, who also attended the camp as the boys coach, said the youngsters played against some of the best water polo players in Australia.
