TEN Triton Water Polo Club members attended a national training camp in Sydney recently.
The four girls and six boys from the Beatty Park-based club were selected to teams for those born in 2000 or 2001 and attended a camp in lieu of World Championships, which are only contested for under-18s and over.
Triton coach Mark Oberman said the camp was a good development opportunity for the teenagers.
Oberman, who also attended the camp as the boys coach, said the youngsters played against some of the best water polo players in Australia.
The camp would prepare the players for national Club Championships and talent ID camps in the future. Oberman said the camp also gave him ideas for training drills and ways to develop Triton players.
