Trigg Junior Boardriders celebrates big year

TRIGG Junior Boardriders has celebrated its biggest year yet.

This season the club has 79 members, which is the largest number in its more than 20-year history.

It crowned six club champions at its recent end-of-year event and marked a successful season of competitions.

Members Fletcher Llanwarne, Charlie Castleden and Lachlan Mitchell-D’Raine have been selected in the WA team to compete at the Australian Junior Surfing Titles in South Australia next month.

Trigg Junior Boardriders is seeking more young surfers to join in 2019 and wants more girls to get involved in surfing.

A registration day is being held on December 1 from 9am at Surfing WA, 368 West Coast Drive, Trigg.
