Tuart Hill dancers impress at national physie championships

STUDENTS from a Tuart Hill dance school have impressed at a recent national competition.

Westcoast Physical Culture Club had seven representatives at the BJP Physical Culture Junior National Finals.

Physie is a dance sport incorporating ballet, hip hop, contemporary, gymnastics, dance aerobics and pilates.

Kiana Cannon (11), Amber Davey (6) and Darcie Cohen (8) entered nationals as zone champions, with Kiana and Amber progressing to the semi-finals.

Chloe Davey (8) and Grace McAdam (14) also danced at the junior competition.

Laura Lauder and Jasmine Waterer represented the club in the ladies nationals championships, with the latter making it to the top 30.
