WAAFL: Big wins for Scarborough and North Beach men’s teams

SCARBOROUGH thumped Fremantle CBC in the latest round of the WA Amateur Football League A-grade competition.

The Gulls dominated at home, winning 14.12 (96) to 4.6 (30).

North Beach also had a huge win, beating Wanneroo on their home turf 21.10 (136) to 9.7 (61).

Scarborough sit a game clear of Fremantle on top of the ladder, with North Beach fifth. North Beach host Wembley at home this weekend and Scarborough head to Bentley to play Curtin Uni Wesley.

In the women’s A-grade competition, North Beach are third on the ladder despite a loss to West Coast.

The Tigers managed just the one goal for the match, going down 6.10 (46) to 1.5 (11). They face seventh-placed Bayswater on Saturday.
