WAAFL: mixed results for Scarborough and North Beach

SCARBOROUGH Amateur Football Club continued its strong form in the WA Amateur Football League with a win over Curtin Uni Wesley on Saturday.

The Gulls remain a game clear on top of the A-grade ladder following the 7.14 (56) to 5.4 (24) win.

North Beach sit fifth on the ladder after losing to Wembley 9.12 (66) to 6.5 (41).

They take on Kalamunda this weekend, while Scarborough face Trinity Aquinas at home.

North Beach women’s A-grade team finished third at the end of the home and away season, beating Bayswater 4.9 (33) to 0.1 (1) on Sunday.

They play fourth-placed University at Lightning Park in Noranda on Saturday from 7pm in the first semi-final.
