WACA Premier Cricket: Scarborough led to win over University by Wes Robinson, but falls to Subiaco Floreat

SCARBOROUGH skipper Wes Robinson produced an outstanding all-round performance to dominate Round Three of WACA Premier Cricket on Sunday.

Robinson’s heroics saw the Gulls side easily account for University at James Oval on Sunday.

The former WA batsman smashed 103 from 98 balls, before taking 3-22 in a stunning all-round display.

Liam Knight was the other star, hammering 114 including five sixes, as the Gulls posted a mammoth total of 9-313 from their 50 overs.

On Saturday, the Gulls fell to Subiaco Floreat at Floreat Park Oval, going down by 10 wickets to a rampant Calum How.

How smashed 72 to lead his side to the required 134 inside 26 overs.

Andy Cameron was impressive on his return to cricket, scoring a half-century, while none of the bowlers were effective in response to the Gulls below par score.
