Elliot RaiterStirling Times

SCARBOROUGH enter day two in a solid position against Gosnells after a strong all-round performance at Abbett Park on Saturday in Round Seven of Premier Cricket.

The bowlers did the damage for the Gulls with Gosnells in sorts of trouble early falling to 7-88, before Ryan James-Buckley (51) and Chris Prescott (33) showed resilience to guide Gosnells to 216.

Andrew Rule and Ed Barnard were terrific early to take three and two wickets respectively, while Ryan Knight took multiple wickets too.

The Gulls finished 2-100, still trailing but looking likely, with skipper Wes Robinson unbeaten on 43.
