The Margaret River Chocolate Co. employee has been making about 300 Easter eggs and bunnies each day for the West Swan chocolate factory and can’t think of anything else she would rather do.
‘It’s a great place to work ” I gave up my last job so I could work here ” it’s the place everyone wants to work,’ she said.
Ms Hassan (31), who has been with the company for the past three years, began her career as an apprenticeship pastry chef at Miss Mauds.
‘As a pastry chef one of the highest things you can do is chocolate, so it’s one of the jobs you seek out,’ she said.
‘And it’s always busy, particularly at Easter.’
Ms Hassan said she still gets regular chocolate cravings, despite working with the tasty delight every day.
‘This is what I was supposed to be doing. Chocolate is what I was born to do,’ she said.
