Sandalford chief executive Grant Brinklow said “we are absolutely ecstatic that the legendary Jacksons are coming to Sandalford Estate”.

“It’s going to be an incredible seven or so hours of some of the greatest Motown hits of all time performed by artists that so many of us grew up listening to and adoring.

“There have been more than 50 fantastic concerts at Sandalford in the last decade but the initial fan reaction is as exciting as I have seen for some of the greatest past shows out here including Michael Buble, Sting, Neil Diamond and Mariah Carey.

“Sandalford’s capacity is licensed to 16,000 people and I would be surprised if it’s not a sell out. We cant wait.”

Kool & the Gang’s playlist is sure to include Celebration, Cherish and Jungle Boogie, while three-time Grammy winners The Pointer Sisters will bring party-starters I’m So Excited, Jump (For My Love), Neutron Dance, Slow Hand and Fire.

Village People will be led by founding member Victor Willis.
