DETECTIVES have charged a 16-year-old boy over a robbery at an Ellenbrook ATM.

Police said a 74-year-old man was withdrawing cash from an ATM at the entrance of a shopping centre on Main Street on July 24 at 11am.

It was alleged the boy bumped the man from behind and grabbed the cash as the 74-year-old was walking away from the machine.
