19-year-old man charged over alleged Ellenbrook triple homicide

HOMICIDE Squad detectives have charged a 19-year-old man with three counts of murder following an investigation into the death of an 8-year-old boy, a 15-year-old girl and their 48-year-old mother.

About 1.30am on July 15, Police were called to a convenience store on The Broadway in Ellenbrook.

Officers attended the convenience store and after further inquiries, attended at a nearby home where a male and female deceased were found deceased.

A second female was found in the backyard with critical injuries.

An ambulance was called, and the female was taken to Royal Perth Hospital, but died a short time later.

The 19-year-old Ellenbrook man, charged as a result of the investigation, is due to appear before the Midland Magistrates Court today,  July 16.
