$20,000 in funding to benefit Ellenbrook Men’s Shed

ELLENBROOK Men’s Shed received $20,000 in funding to improve facilities.

The funding, which was an election commitment by Labor MP Jessica Shaw, was presented last Friday as part of their program to boost local projects and employment.

The funding will provide new equipment, extra work space, new security and safety measures, and help grow the membership base for the shed.

Ms Shaw said the funding would ensure Ellenbrook Men’s Shed could continue to grow and thrive.

“This group allows men to work on meaningful projects in the company of other like-minded men,” he said.

“Their projects make a big difference to our local community – they fix playgrounds, sporting and community equipment.

“I’m so pleased to have the opportunity through this grant to support their great work.”
