It consists of a dedicated and talented group of authors who are all pursuing an interest in writing.

Members are proactive in getting their work published, with Rebecca Raisin and Lisa Swallow recently gaining contracts to have their books published. Laura Buchanan is also publishing paranormal-fantasy books under the pseudonym Anna Hub.

Group member Debbie Williams has published The Nememiah Chronicles, a paranormal romance-adventure which follows the journey of Charlotte Duncan.

‘The friendly nature of local residents, along with an accidental meeting with a mysterious stranger, give Charlotte reason to pause and reconsider the path she has chosen,’ Ms Williams said.

‘The group all write because it’s what we love most to do.

‘Personally, I have been writing since I was five years old but only began seriously considering publishing my work in the past 12 months or so.’

Ellenbrook Writers Group meet fortnightly and submit work for group members to critique.

‘We aim to provide each other with constructive criticism and positive feedback, providing support for one another in our writing endeavours,’she said.
