RECENTLY retired acoustic expert John MacPherson will be in Guildford next week to discuss aircraft noise and its effects on public health.
Mr MacPherson will discuss the findings from the 2015 International Commission on Biological Effect of Noise Conference, as well as the latest research and findings, including new work being done on the association between noise and cancer and diabetes.
The talk is relevant to all Guildford residents and the surrounding communities, including Woodbridge, Midland and the Swan Valley, which will be aircraft noise affected within the next 10 years with the planned parallel runway at Perth Airport.
