GERMAN discount supermarket Aldi will open in Ellenbrook later this year, despite rumours it was no longer opening.
An Aldi spokeswoman confirmed construction was currently underway.
“We are pleased to confirm our Ellenbrook store is on track to open before the end of the year,” she said.

The Ellenbrook store is among 70 stores set to open in the region, with Mirrabooka Square, Kwinana, Belmont and Lakeside Joondalup already opened.
