THE weekly Aveley Farmers Market will run from 9am to 1pm this Sunday, November 13.
Located behind the Aveley Community Centre at 22 Bolero Road, Aveley, the market will showcase local produce and artistic talent, as well as entertainment and handcrafted items.
This weekend, Charlie Scott Music will busk and Riverlands Montessouri School will fundraise with a sausage sizzle.
“We also have a face painter on site this weekend for the kids to enjoy and often have a bouncy castle, bubble blowing fairies and a kids train ride made by the Ellenbrook Lions Club,” Stomping Ground Events market organiser Sally Casotti said.
“Stalls include: fresh produce, coffee, cakes, baked good, hot food, fresh grass fed meat, Moroccan food, tapas style food, handmade children’s clothing, artisan spices, natural beauty products, pots & plants, hand made soy candles, hand made soaps, soft serve ice cream and slushees.”
Stallholders include Sweet Inspirations, Shiraz Soft Serve, Brewral Coffee, Pink Salt Cafe, B3 Perth , S & R Orchard, Gingin Beef, Taylors Butchery, Gourmet Coaster, Jim Brown Farm Direct, Slice is Nice, Shak Shuka, Glam Flambeau, Bella’s Beehive, Viking Waffles and Lucy & Linni.
There will also be Blazing Embers, Banana Leaf Modern Filipino Street Food, Soapy Mania, Eastern Hills Nursery, Peppercorn Creations, Perth Organics, Nelly’s Handmade, The Bitter Bush and Danielle Moore’s Arbonne stall.
The nine-week trial market will take place every Sunday until November 27, although organisers are applying to extend the trial to December 18.
“We are also in the process of obtaining DA approval from the City of Swan to have this made as a permanent market next year,” Cosatti said.
