Aveley sexual assault: police appeal for information after woman is attacked in home

DETECTIVES are appealing for information from the public after a 20-year-old woman was sexually assaulted at a house in Aveley on Saturday night.

Police allege a young male broke into a residence on Holdsworth Avenue on Saturday evening, where he sexually and physically assaulted the woman before fleeing the home.

The male is described as being about 16 years of age, dark skinned and approximately 180cm tall with a slim build.

He was wearing a black jumper with a white logo on the front, a black baseball cap and red sneakers.

A dark coloured bandana was covering his face.

Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the vicinity of Holdsworth Avenue between 7:30pm and 9pm who may have seen the male or a white coloured sedan, possibly a Subaru or Magna with custom rims and tinted windows.
