Aveley’s Feel Good Festival cancelled because of weather

AVELEY’s Feel Good Festival has been postponed due to a severe weather warning for tomorrow.

The festival, which was the official opening for Aviary Creek Park in the Vale, will now be rescheduled.

Stockland’s WA general manager of residential Col Dutton said a decision had been made to postpone this weekend’s festival due to inclement weather.

“Unfortunately the weather forecast for Saturday is not ideal and we’ve made the decision to postpone the opening celebrations at Aviary Creek Park to ensure all residents, visitors, stallholders and entertainers can have the best possible outdoor experience,” he said.

“We’re still keen to celebrate the completion of this exciting new destination and will announce a new date for the festival very soon.

“The parkland itself is now open to the public and I’m sure this will become a popular place for families across Perth to visit, as it caters for all generations with a wide range of features designed to support healthy and active lifestyles.”

Stockland will announce a new date for the Feel Good Festival once details have been confirmed.
