Owner Leanne Phillipson said staff immediately recognised the Prince and described him as �just lovely�.
�He was with a whole bunch of other (military) crew and was here for about 15 minutes,� she said.
�He spoke to all the staff because we have quite a few English staff who work here.
�He asked questions about what brought them out here.
�He talked to all the staff and was extremely pleasant.
�We said �you don�t have to pay for it (the eclair)� so he ended up putting the money into one of the charity bins.
�We now have Royal-approved banoffee eclairs.
�He said he�d heard lots of good things about the bakery and the guys had said to him that they had basically paid for the refurbishment of the bakery because they come in here so often.�
