Baldivis, Ellenbrook, Willetton highest for building crime

Justin BianchiniThe Advocate

Building crime company Pact Site Security has reported Baldivis, Ellenbrook and Willetton as having the highest reports of crime in January 2019.

With more secluded sites being more at risk, a development in Willetton on the corner of Vahland Avenue and South Street has seen rates rise due to its possible isolation from the broader community, whilst ongoing building developments further South in Baldivis and North in Ellenbrook see them more vulnerable for similar reasons.

The company uses crime mapping technology to identify trends and attract police patrols to hot spots.

“It is important to get ahead of crime in new developments, before it takes hold and can lead to future social issues for the community,” spokesman Craig Pages-Oliver said.
