THERE has been a lot of interest in the Bullsbrook Croquet Club’s Open Day on Friday, which will see an accredited coach come to Pickett Park to instruct eager croquet players.

The club was started in June this year and has already got 15 members.

In July, members travelled to the Cambridge Club to learn more about the game and to play on the well-manicured and maintained greens.

Croquet is a great sport for people of all abilities, as well as providing an opportunity for community members to socialise, make new friends and learn a new skill.

More members are encouraged to join the club, which meets at Pickett Park on Chittering Road, Bullsbrook every Friday.

Currently the club meets on Friday afternoons but in summer, it will become a morning meeting.
