BEGINNER bird watchers can learn more about the hobby at Birdlife WA workshops this weekend.
The organisation will host an introduction into bird watching on Saturday, July 9 at the WA Ecology Centre in Floreat.
The next day, it will run a bird identification workshop covering some species that can be challenging to identify when in the field, including raptors, parrots and small brown-grey birds.
No experience is needed for either session.

They will run from 9am to 12.30pm on July 9 and 10 and each costs $15, including light refreshments.
