Car fire closes Lord Street in Brabham

A MAN is recovering in hospital with smoke inhalation after his car caught fire in Brabham today.

The fire started at around 11.45am on the corner of Lord Street and Harrow Street.

Department of Fire and Emergency Services say the fire is contained but not under control and have asked people to avoid the area.

The section of Lord Street has been closed to motorists.

It is unclear what caused the fire.
