Caversham: police seeking witnesses to Swan Valley brewery stabbing

MIDLAND detectives are seeking help from the public after a man was stabbed outside a Swan Valley brewery on Saturday.

Police said just before 4.00pm they were advised a man had been seriously injured in the car park of the Funk Cider, Old Fig Tree and Ironbark Brewery complex on Benara Road in Caversham.

Police and St John ambulance personnel attended and found a 26-year-old man had received multiple injuries, some consistent with stab wounds.

The injured man was taken to Royal Perth Hospital by St John Ambulance. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

It is believed three males were seen running from the area.

Detectives would like to hear from anyone who saw the incident, or who saw the three men running from the scene.

There was a large group of people in the vicinity of the incident, and it is believed those people may have information that could assist with the investigation.

Detectives are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who has mobile phone vision of the incident itself, or of the scene immediately after the incident.
