RESIDENTS and business owners attended a community information session last week to get an update on flood recovery.
The session, which was organised by City of Swan, was to provide impacted residents with information, services and support.
Mayor Mick Wainwright said the session provided the City and council with another opportunity to check in on those affected by the flood.
“The information session was a great way for us to show support to members of the community whose lives have been turned upside down by this flood,” he said.
“Not only were we able to get an update on how they have been coping and progressing, we were able to discuss any remaining or ongoing concerns they have and possible solutions.”
The City has been working to repair any remaining damage, clean up and reopening parks and reserves affected by the flood.
While most parks and reserves have now been reopened Maali Bridge Park in Henley Brook and Woodbridge Riverside Play Space remain closed.
