CITY of Swan is gearing up for another big year at the Avon Descent Festival, which will this year be held at a new venue.
The free festival, which is a partnership between the City and Act Belong Commit, will be held at Lilac Hill Park in Caversham for the first time.
Swan Mayor Mick Wainwright said the new location would mean more room for activities and plenty of river frontage for event goers to watch the Avon Descent.
