Cullacabardee hit and run: police release footage of vehicle believed involved in hit and run death of Patrick Tiernan

FOOTAGE of a vehicle believed to be involved in a fatal hit and run in Cullacabardee last month has emerged.

Patrick Tiernan (47) was killed as he tried to wave down other motorists after his ute became bogged on Beechboro Road North about 10pm on July 6.

Major Crash investigators have received information from members of the public that a white 4×4 dual cab ute was seen parked at the crash scene around the time of the incident.

About 9.50pm a vehicle was captured on CCTV travelling north on Beechboro Road North, just past Marshall Road.

Police believe the occupants of these vehicles (possibly the same vehicle) may be able to assist with their investigation into this incident.
