Deferral despite owner’s appeal

And it is still not operating at capacity. A number of objectors at a recent City of Swan council meeting spoke against the business being granted a permit for additional extraction capacity and more trucks operating from the Maralla Road facility.

‘We were under the impression we already had permission to do this,’ Mr Elliott told the council.

‘Last October, we ceased operating only after a few days when we applied for an upgrade to the maximum tonnage, subject to the road being upgraded.

‘A few days later it was deferred, now it’s already March and it’s being deferred again.’
