DFES issues bushfire advice for Seabird in Shire of Gingin

THE Department of Fire and Emergency Services has issued a bushfire advice alert for a fire in the northern part of Seabird in the Shire of Gingin.

The fire near the intersection of Williams Way and McCormick Street was reported 11.43am on February 5 and has burnt about 3ha.

Firefighters are on the scene, actively fighting the fire, which is moving slowly in a north westerly direction and is contained but not controlled.

There is no immediate danger but DFES advised people in the area to be aware and keep up to date in case the situation changes.
