ELLENBROOK Christian College and Beechboro Christian School have opened their first combined art exhibition at The Gallery on Main Street in Ellenbrook.

Justin Krause, who is principal of both schools, opened the public exhibition at the event attended by more than 75 people.

“It is interesting to see the values young people choose to express in their beautiful works, from the environmental cares of the world to love and spirituality,” he said.

In addition to the works of art themselves, there was live music and drama students posing as living statues.

The exhibition includes about 160 drawings, paintings, photography, media clips, sculptures, digital works and woodwork pieces on show, as well as staff-submitted pieces.

The exhibition at 34 Main Street runs from 10am-2pm on weekdays and 1pm-5pm on weekends until November 6.
