ELLENBROOK Christian College hosted its annual interschool leadership high tea recently.
The event encouraged students from various local schools to meet, network, and grow into community leaders.
Student leaders from Ellenbrook Secondary College, Swan Christian College, Swan Valley Anglican Community School, Holy Cross College, La Salle College and Guildford Grammar School joined Ellenbrook Christian College’s head boy Cason Ho and head girl Christina Koutsoukos.
“We were delighted to host so many young leaders from our community,” principal Justin Krause said.
Guest speaker Ashlee Harrison, founder and chief executive of Zero2Hero Foundation, addressed the group, with a member from each team discussing the theme ‘Courage and commitment to lead’.
“Ashlee Harrison’s address was inspirational and really challenged the students to think about how they can practically make an impact in their schools every day,” Mr Krause said.
“It is fantastic to see these leaders committing their time and energy to serving their fellow students and working hard to set a positive example.”
