ELLENBROOK Community Weight Loss Club will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year.

The not-for-profit group has celebrated a number of weight loss success stories over the past 10 years, with members of all ages and from all over the region.

President Shirley Sardelich said the group was inexpensive, motivating and encouraging for those wanting to lose weight.

“Obesity is a huge and growing problem in our society and we need to nip it in the bud before it becomes a major problem,” she said.
