Ellenbrook: free learning forum on reporting of child sexual abuse

THE Department of Child Protection and Family Support will be hosting a free learning event this month on the reporting of child sexual abuse.

The learning event covers mandatory and non-mandatory reports of child sexual assault, child abuse indicators, different types of abuse, managing disclosure of abuse, grooming techniques and behaviours and family and domestic violence.

The event, which is in collaboration with WA Health, WA Police, The Department of Education, Catholic Education of WA and the Association of Independent Schools of WA, will be held at Ellenbrook Open Space north function room on June 13 between 9am and 1pm.
