A YOUNG man accused of killing his mother and two siblings remains in a secure psychiatric facility but has again told a Perth court he is innocent.

Teancum Vernon Petersen-Crofts, 19, allegedly murdered his mother Michelle Petersen, 48, his 15-year-old sister Bella and eight-year-old brother Rua.

The bodies of his mother and brother were found inside their Ellenbrook home on July 15, while Bella was found injured in the backyard and died on the way to hospital.

Petersen-Crofts appeared in Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court on Wednesday via video link from the Frankland Centre at Graylands Hospital, telling the court: “I didn’t do it.”

His outburst prompted the magistrate to order the video link be muted.

Petersen-Crofts was remanded in custody to reappear in court on February 27.
