Fine dining for a cause

Bright Blue is committed to childhood cancer research and needs more funds to help areas of research, including the discovery of new anti-cancer drugs.

The Bright Blue in the Valley dinner will be held on Saturday, May 21, at the Caversham winery.

Police Commissioner Karl O’Callaghan, who will attend, urged people to come along.

“This is a great opportunity to enjoy some fine food and wines, as well as support a very worthy cause into the research for finding a cure for childhood cancers,” Mr O’Callaghan said.

Tickets are $150 and include pre-dinner drinks, canapes, a three-course meal, Sandalford wine and beer.

Music will be provided by Arco Violin duo, followed by a band.

Raffle prizes and auction items will also be on offer, including a pearl raffle, accommodation packages and a Harley tour of the Swan Valley.
