Firefighters contain Bullsbrook bushfire

FIREFIGHTERS have contained a bushfire which was threatening lives and homes northeast of Perth.

A bushfire advice warning remains in place for people in Railway Parade, Rutland Road, Great Northern Highway and Warren Road in Bullsbrook.

The fire is under control, but there is a lot of smoke in the area.

The alert level for this fire has been downgraded as crews have worked hard to strengthen containment lines.

Although there is no immediate danger you need to be aware and keep up to date in case the situation changes.
