Four contestants, who can register to enter in store, will have 15 minutes to gorge as much pizza as possible.
Owner Laurance Romano said the competition pizzas would likely be the classic margherita.
‘The idea behind it was just to create something new and different that no one else is really doing in the area,’ he said. ‘It seems quite popular on social media so far.’
Pizza samples and giveaways will be available to attendees without the indigestion attached to competition eating.
There does not appear to be a Guinness World Record for most pizzas eaten in 15 minutes
However, champion competition eater Takeru Kobayashi set a new world record when he ate 62 slices of pizza (15 and a half pizzas) in 12 minutes in Canada last August.
The winner of the Ellenbrook contest wins $500.
It will be on Sunday, March 29, from 11am to noon.
