Ellen Stirling Primary School will hold its fourth Purple Haze Day next week.

The school will hold its fourth annual ‘Purple Haze Day’ on March 16 and has raised more than $5500 in total.

Principal Dean Goldspink said its success had made it a permanent fixture on the school calendar to help children in WA hospitals.

“It is so humbling to see children raising money for others with such greater needs than themselves,” he said.

Dr Goldspink said the school would welcome any monetary or prize donations from businesses in the Ellenbrook or Swan Valley areas.

Next Wednesday, students will dress up in purple for gold coin donations and hold a fashion parade, with prizes for the best dressed.
