Holy Cross College drummer boy making a lot of noise in WA musical circles

Lisa ThomasThe Advocate

HOLY Cross College student Nikolas Dragicevich is proving to be a drumming prodigy, impressing the likes of musicians at the WA Academy of Performing Arts.

The 11-year-old was recently given a special exemption to attend a jazz camp, despite not being old enough to make the cut off age of 14, but impressed judges at WAAPA with a video of him playing.

While at the camp Nikolas got a chance to work closely with professional and amateur jazz musicians in an intensive workshop and performance environment.
