Councillor Mark Elliott said it was exciting to see the level of talent on show each year.

“In 2017, more than 150 local bands and 40 DJs from all over Australia applied to get involved in HyperFest,” he said.

“The Hyper volunteers do a great job ensuring HyperFest is a success and the festival just keeps getting bigger and better each year.”

HyperFest will take over Midland Oval on Saturday February 24 from noon to 9pm.

HyperFest is a drug, smoke and alcohol-free music festival.
