PHOTOS have surfaced of a 4WD windscreen deep in the ocean off Lancelin after becoming bogged on Sunday night.
The unfortunate car was left in the water overnight until Lancelin’s local retrieval expert Cliff Weeks was called in to pull the sodden car out from the depths.
The tide was high and holding on to the 4WD – to the point it lost a tyre.
Photos were posted on the Lancelin Facebook page – which described a “monster shore break engulfing the car” which made pulling it out a nightmare.
In the end it required a monster tractor and second 4WD vehicle to bring it out of the ocean.
Late last year, the recently re-signed West Coast Eagles superstar Jeremy McGovern was left red-faced after his 4WD became bogged nearby.
